STAND FOR CHILDREN

Stand for Children is an innovative, grassroots child advocacy organization.

"We build effective local and statewide networks of grassroots advocates capable of convincing elected officials to invest in and reform childrens programs. Following specific priorities chosen by our members, we focus on securing adequate funding for public schools and reforming education policies and practices to help children thrive academically, giving them the opportunities they need to become successful, productive citizens."

Stand for Children and I worked together to create a brief film to introduce potential members to the state of education in Oregon. We talk about the problems, sure, but the real turn is illuminating where we might find a solution.

In this project I took it from start to finish: Concept Development, Writing, Camera Operation, Direction, and Editing.
